You can choose from 3 different modes based on your requirement, like rotation only, hammering with rotation or hammering only. Designed with constant speed control to ensure smooth operation, durable life and overload protection in high torque applications. The XGT® digital communication safeguards the device from overload, over discharge and overheating thus making this tool perfect for use in heavy-load applications. The internal counterbalance, anti-vibration technology (AVT®) system has handles which help to minimize vibrations. The XGT® multi-layer contact interface and sturdy rails construction make sure that tools and batteries are continuously delivering optimum power output even on high-current demands. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) safeguards the motor and bearings from dust, debris and water and ensures long lasting usage. If wheel is forced to stop, active feedback-sensing technology (AFT®) turns the motor off. Includes variable speed dial and soft-grip handle with 2-finger trigger for user convenience. It also has a LED light for illuminating work place. Comes with OSHA table 1 compliant on-board HEPA dust extractor or stand-alone AWS® extractor options for added benefits. This tool and dust extractor communicate wirelessly for power-on/off by using auto-start wireless system (AWS®) which makes use of Bluetooth® technology. It has an electric brake for easy repositioning and torque limiting clutch for automatic gear disengaging while a bind-up situation. It is suitable for use with Makita® 40 Volts max XGT® lithium-ion batteries. This device can be safely and securely protected by retractable tool hook, when not in use. This product comes with a 40 Volts max XGT® lithium-ion 2.5 Ah battery, charger, dust extractor, side handle, grease, towel and a tool bag.
