The safety features are: At the base and tip of each hook are permanent measuring points to check the hooks throat opening for signs of "stretching", an indication that the hoist has been overloaded and the hook should be replaced. The zinc coating on crucial parts gives it the ability to withstand harsh conditions. Welded structural stay bolts increases strength and safety.
